On this Blog we would like to share with you our thoughts and perspectives on the topics which we believe will shape the future of our digital world.

Mobile communication, Broadband and the Internet have changed the way we  interact and communicate with each other.  Innovative new services and application are helping us in our everyday lives and make it easier to stay in touch with our family and friends. Huge amounts of information are flowing around the globe in seconds, enabling good ideas to spread fast and innovation to prosper everywhere. The prerequisite for this digital revolution is ubiquious connectivity, managed by new technology and innovative networks.

Telefónica is providing such connectivity everyday to over 280 Million customers worldwide. We are developing and delivering communication, information and entertainment solutions in over 25 countries in Europe,  Latin America and Asia and are a major investor in communication infrastucture and research & development.

I am aware that these activities and our global presence place Telefónica at the heart of public policy debates related to digital communication, Broadband and the Internet. With this Blog we want to contribute to ongoing public debates and share our views, but as importantly: get your views, feedback or comments.
